Delta Passengers Forced to Hold Up Plane’s Ceiling Mid-Flight
Don’t worry, we’ll sort out all these plane issues eventually.
You’re hearing less and less about in-flight incidents these days. I hate to break it to you, but it’s not because the flights have gotten better — it’s because everyone’s kind of stopped caring about in-air issues now that there’s a bunch of other shit going on.
Unfortunately, America’s plane situation isn’t only shit, but getting shittier. Not only are maintenance and regulation being gutted, but airlines have announced that they’re reducing capacity (i.e., sending out fewer flights), meaning that your next plane ticket is likely going to be 1) expensive and 2) inflexible.
Oh yeah, the planes themselves are also falling apart. Passengers on a Delta Airlines flight to Chicago were recently tasked with holding up a ceiling panel after it partially collapsed, exposing the wiring beneath. In the end, they just taped it back into place.
Happy flying!
